Whether you are interested in photography or nature journaling or attending a Kids in the Park or Wee Ones event, make sure to take advantage of the parks winter programming. Some find it difficult to find positive things about snow. But with the right amount of it you can have a ton of fun in our parks! The Hancock Park District’s Raccoon Run Sports Center offers Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe rentals. If you want to learn how, beginner ski lessons take place on some Saturdays. Everyone gets restless in the winter but it is especially tough on children. Whether your child is an infant or a middle-schooler, the Children’s Museum of Findlay has something for them. Along Little Main Street there are activities designed for children to learn while doing, all while appreciating what Hancock County has to offer!
