Hamsters live in nature in the temperature range between 18-24 degrees

Hamsters live in burrows filled with food, especially in winter. Also they like to eat sunflower seeds, a staple food with him.
4. Types
Hamsters have many types . I will talk 3 types of hamsters.
1. land hamster :land hamster like guinea pig and it is threatened with extinction. Its height median height is 25 cm . Its weight between ( 220 to 460g )
5. 2. Russian dwarf hamster :
It is dwarf . It is weight between 45-65 g . it is height between 8 - 10 cm
3 . Golden hamster :
Most people like this kind of hamsters . It has brown and golden body . It lives for 2-3 years . Its weight between 90 to 170 g . Its height from 11 to 18 cm
6. Behavior
When bringing a new hamster home, do not expect that it will come into your hands immediately as the hamster will still be afraid and shy of you. In order to have your hamster to trust you, you should occasionally give him treats and avoid handling him until he will gain trust in you and will come on your hands on his own. This usually takes days or even months!
7. GENERAL HAMSTER BEHAVIOUR
Hamsters are nocturnal which means that they sleep during the day and wake up during the night. If a hamsters lies on its back, it means that the hamster is frightened. Usually hamsters squeak when playing with each other if they are housed together - housing hamsters together is only ideal for dwarf hamsters.
8. Care
As with any pet, keeping a hamster requires a commitment to care for it during its life which could be 2-3 years or longer. The commitment required includes not only routine feeding, care and time spent with the hamster but also the provision of veterinary treatment if the hamster becomes ill which can be costly. Although proper care will go a long way to ensuring that any hamster remains happy and healthy there may still be times when prompt veterinary treatment is needed and once a hamster is ill it can deteriorate quickly.
