Drama Year 7 Drama were watching YouTube Indiana Jones clips and they
were working on their slow motion skills! They have been brain-storming dangerous situations, sketching them out and then
translating them into slow-motion performances. It has been great fun and they have thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Stars of the Week
John & Patrick
Smoothies FE Resource Base were looking at
healthy and unhealthy drinks.
They chose lots of different fruits and made lovely
milkshakes and smoothies. Mrs Trabucchi said that fiz-
zy drinks are really bad for your health and have too much sugar.
Home Cooking On Wednesday night Louis
cooked up one of his favourite dishes. Can you guess what
Louis’ favourite dish is?
New Recruits We went to Army Cadets,
I really liked it. We had to practise standing to attention, we looked at some fake guns, we crawled under-neath netting and did lots of other

Art Exam Year 11T did their final GCSE Art
exam this week. It is a 10-hour exam spread over 2 days (5 hours each day) so it has been incredibly
hard work but they have coped well and will be very pleased when
it’s all over.
Young, Deaf, Talented? Up for It? is made by Mutt and Jeff
Pictures for the British Sign Language Broadcasting Trust (BSLBT). They are casting for their third series and are looking for deaf children with unusual talents or skills. If you would like to take part see the flyer for details.
Shopping 8/9 group went to Asda this week to practise what they had learnt about
healthy eating and food groups.
They each had a shopping list and had to find all the things on their list by them-selves. — Ms. Rhyne
Coming Soon Our Sensory Room is nearly finished, just a few finishing touches left to do. We are
looking forward to using this amazing space to help us meet
the sensory needs of our growing student population.

Chocolate Cake
There was chocolate cake in Specialist Provision on Thursday. Megan brought in
a chocolate cake to share. They had a bit of a party and the chocolate cake
didn’t last very long.
Housepoints Blue 26, Yellow 20
Last week, the score was Blue 22, Yellow 18.
This week Luke, Joshua, Jemma and Tayah got points for Blue and Kacey and Sasha
got points for Yellow. Well done.
