It is our mission to get your son/daughter to college, and a DRUG FREE lifestyle is definitely a part of this work. We want all Colts to be successful in life and citizenship. I would also like to thank those of you who attended our A and AB Honor Roll breakfasts this week. It is a pleasure to get to know you and have you join us on campus. If you son/daughter did not meet this list this Quarter, I encourage you to support him/her by checking PowerSchool each week to see progress on grades. Ms Ysasi is coming to us from Brownsville, TX. -Ms. Ysasi graduated from James Pace High School in Brownsville, TX in 2004 -Graduated from University of Texas at Brownsville in 2009

- Major in Communications

- Minor in Gender Studies -Her previous job experiences include college recruiter and substituting -Years of service to IDEA Public Schools- 4 Why did Ms. Ysasi decide to become a teacher?

“I’ve always wanted to give back to my community. Growing up in a low socioeconomic neighborhood in Brownsville I saw many of my neighbors joining gangs, starting drugs, and going to jail. I was lucky to have had teachers who saw my potential and motivated me to do better. I really just wanted to be like them. I wanted to inspire young minds to do better with their lives.
