a beginning, middle, and end with a well developed setting

and plot.

PRE-WRITE• What are some different organizers we can use to organize

our thoughts for our story?

• Let’s learn about a new graphic organizer.

• Fold a piece of scratch paper into sixths and draw out the main events of your story in each square. Make sure you have an introduction, climax, and resolution.

• When you are done add action verbs to your squares. These action verbs should help tell the story.

• Retell your story to two buddies.

Rough Draft

retell your story to one other person to review your thoughts and ideas.
