This day, was called Samhain and this day,was starting the Centic New Year.

  • Symbols used in HalloweenIn Halloween many people decorate their homes with symbols of Halloween. The most important is the pumpkin, the Trick or Treat and witches. Other symbols are owl, toad, vampires, cats, masks, crescent and star,crystal balls,bobbing for apples and fires.

  • Important legends: the jack-o'-lanterna famous Irish drunkard named Jack , Jack was able to fool the devil offering his soul in exchange for one last drink. Jack cheating and told him not to let him go until he promised not to ask or his soul in 10 years. The devil had no choice but to grant his desire
