Before Halloween: Celtic holiday  that marks the end of the  harvest season and the beginning of winter called Samhain.

Samhain: The Celtic believed that, on that night, the veil between the world of the living and the world of the dead would be at its thinnest. The bonfire and the animal costumes are meant to protect the people from evil spirits.
