Half-Retire is a program for any business owner who:

• Does not want to fully-retire but wants to reduce the day-to-day toil ofbusiness ownership.

• Cannot afford to retire, i.e., the income stream from the business cannotbe replaced by selling it.

Wants their business to run without them, so they can shift from hard-earned income to equity income. The program offers training and coachingto help the business owner better reap the rewards of their hard work.

By using the training, tools, and coaching in the program, the business owneris able to dramatically cut the time spent working, so they can enjoy family,friends, travel, and achieve better work-life balance.

Half-Retire coaches work one-on-one with clients to guide them through thesix-step Half-Retire process. The Half-Retire learning management systemguides the client through all the training needed. Saying, “I’m Half-Retired,” is a subjective definition. Our goal is to get theowner working only two half-days a week, but many clients want to workmore than that. Half-Retirement isn’t about the number of hours the ownerputs in; it’s about protecting their income stream and reducing theirworkload to the tasks they enjoy. If that is zero hours a week, that’s great; ifthat’s 30 hours a week, that’s fine too.

Most clients make significant progress in the first three months, but the fullHalf-Retire process can take a year or more. After all, it took the businessowner a long time to make the hairball; it will take a while to unravel it.

Part of the Half-Retire process is a big shift in mindset . The business ownerwill not be able to run the business in the exact same way during Half-Retirement as they do today. Many things must change, the first of which ishow they see their business and interact with it. Coaching can be invaluableat this stage of the process to help identify problem mindsets and cementnew ones. We have seen miraculous results very quickly when the businessowner changes their mindset.

Yes and no. We operate in metro areas and prefer to meet with clients inperson. Clients are almost always located within fifty miles of downtown. Bygrouping client meetings by geography, there is minimal driving. You will alsosleep in your own bed every night.

We do not cold call. We use a marketing-based approach that automaticallytakes the prospect from stranger to educated buyer. Like any good businessprocess, Half-Retire coaches use a proven marketing system to driveprospects to purchase. You can assist in that process by building a referralecosystem and meeting with prospects when appropriate.

This is not a contract coaching position. If you are looking for us to close thebusiness for you and just coach, you will remove yourself from an importantpart of the process. Building a relationship with your coach before buying theHalf-Retire Program greatly increases the likelihood of a sale and allows youto add value.

There are quite a few variables: how well you market, how hard you work,and how well you do the coaching. The bottom line is $100,000 is taking itpretty easy in our business. Hard-working coaches can make $175,000 -$350,000+. In essence, you are an independent business unit and will betreated accordingly.

For example, the Half-Retire Program sells for $999/month. Each month, theclient will move through the training portal prior to meeting with you for aninety-minute live session. You will also do a once a month phone call witheach client for 30-45 minutes. By leveraging an augmented coachingapproach, your effective billing rate is $499/hour.

Licensees keep 100% of their billings. Employees are paid a $30,000/yearbase salary and a portion of the program sales. Need to keep it the same asthe other programs so I can remember and not make mistakes. $2500/mobase and 35% to 50% based on booked receipts.

We welcome Half-Retire Coaches as employees or licensees. The marketingmethodology and the program delivered to clients are identical. Thedifference is whose practice you are building. If you are an employee, we payyou to build our practice. As the owner of the practice, we share in theearnings. We pay for any marketing and pay you a salary, etc. If you are alicensee, we help you build your own practice. You, as the owner of thepractice, keep all the billings/earnings.
