half pie or whole

I am sitting at my desk and thinking, “Oh my God, half of the year is gone”. The thought left me some adrenalin. Quickly, I popped out my writing note pad and glanced at a few written notes. The dates were precise, 1 st of Jan, 3 rd of Jan, 16 th of Jan and so on. The first was a “To-do” list; the next was a “Must-get “list and the others were “Would-be-nice-to-have”. Appraising efforts and gauging my expectations, my first list appears almost empty as a blank paper. The second how- ever appears like a blotted canvas. Very sad, I picked up my pen too and ticked a few out of the way. I didn’t even bother to read the third. Come to think of it, right in front of me is a cup, half full and half empty. Similar to one of the famous question of all time, I am asking myself this very needful question. Is this cup half full or half empty? Is the year, half gone or half left? De- pending on the way, I choose to see it which determines the overall, in the past six months, I have done a lot which I never noted in my pad, God has blessed with so much beyond my little expectation, and my “Would-be-nice-to-have” is just an icing to the cake pie. Half of the year appears eaten but the other part of the pie lies in waste if we choose to see it as halved. Would you see the cup full rather than half empty? Make good use of the whole pie and invest as much as you can. It’s sll dawn of a new beginning. Peradven- ture, you have leſt everything undone, pick up your boots and begin redeeming the me. Page 1: Half Pie or Whole

I am sitting at my desk and thinking, “Oh my God, half of the year is gone”. The thought left me some adrenalin. Quickly, I popped out my writing note pad and glanced at a few written notes. The dates were precise, 1st of Jan, 3rd of Jan, 16th of Jan and so on. The first was a “To-do” list; the next was a “Must-get “list and the others were “Would-be-nice-to-have”. Appraising efforts and gauging my expectations, my first list appears almost empty as a blank paper. The second how-ever appears like a blotted canvas. Very sad, I picked up my pen too and ticked a few out of the way. I didn’t even bother to read the third. Come to think of it, right in

front of me is a cup, half full

and half empty. Similar to one

of the famous question of all

time, I am asking myself this

very needful question. Is this

cup half full or half empty? Is the

year, half gone or half left? De-

pending on the way, I choose to

see it which determines the

overall, in the past six months, I

have done a lot which I never

noted in my pad, God has

blessed with so much beyond my

little expectation, and my

“Would-be-nice-to-have” is just

an icing to the cake pie. Half of

the year appears eaten but the

other part of the pie lies in waste

if we choose to see it as halved.

Would you see the cup full rather

than half empty? Make good use

of the whole pie and invest as

much as you can. It’s still dawn of

a new beginning. Peradven-

ture, you have left everything

undone, pick up your boots

and begin redeeming the time.
