What is Virgin Hair? 100% virgin hair is hair that has not been chemically treated. There are no permanent/semi-permanent col-

ors, perms, or relaxers used to alter the color, texture or curl pattern of the hair. This hair does not shed!!!

To prevent tangling, all the hairs are placed with the cuticles in the same direction. This can also be called

cuticle hair.

All hair comes in natural black and brown or gray tones (some Indian hair has been colored blonde or

golden brown). The hair can be colored with professional permanent, semi-permanent and cellophane col-

oring products. There are several curl patterns to choose from, straight, body wave, and euro curly. The

hair comes in 10"-34", all in two inch increments (10", 12", 14" - 16", etc.)

Bulk/Loose Hair and Weft/Track Hair

The hair comes in bulk/loose or a standard machined weft. Bulk/loose hair is used for braiding and fusion.

Loose hair starts no shorter than 16 inches. Machine wefts and hand-tied wefts are used for weaving. Both

machine wefts and hand-tied wefts can be cut, but a small amount of nail glue should be used on the cut end

of the wefts to prevent it from unraveling. Hand tied weft should be re-enforced with nail glue the entire

length of the weft to prevent shedding.

Before hair is distributed to customers, it is inspected, shampooed and deep conditioned. We insure quality

hair is delivered with every order. This hair can last 6 months to a year or longer if properly taken care of.

A professional cosmetologist is recommended for proper care and styling of the hair.

Can I color this hair? Yes, this hair can be colored with professional permanent, semi-permanent and cellophane colors. We offer

coloring services for hair bought on site. All else must be color by your local stylist after receiving the hair.

This is due to if we send you the hair pre-colored you will need to be a professional to determine if it’s hu-

man or manmade. That is why most hair in the Asian beauty supply stores labeled human come colored, it’s

not 100% human. Once the hair has been colored, it is no longer considered "virgin" hair.

How much hair is needed? A minimum of 2 ounces of hair is needed to add undetectable fullness or length to your own hair. A mini-

mum of 6 ounces of hair is needed for a full weave depending on how full you'd like the finished style. A

minimum of 12 ounces of hair is needed for braiding and 8 ounces for fusion.

Keep in mind, the longer the hair, the shorter the weft, so additional ounces might need to be purchased for

desired length, fullness or style. The hair is sold in 4 oz bundles. Remember it takes 6 to 8 oz's to do a full

weave.

Hair Loss Laser Solution, 2013 Class

A. DESCRIPTION

This course involves a careful examination of cold lasers and how they stimulate natural hair growth through

biophotostimulation. Emphases are on the development of basic skills, visualization, and solution after identify-

ing types of hair loss. It is an exploratory, first course in how cold laser work to reduce and eliminate hair loss.

Trichology Technology courses upon completion of this course are advised but not necessary in being effective

in administering treatment to clients who suffer from hair loss. However, it also meets the needs of many hair

stylist who have some training as trichologist but have not been introduced to cold laser treatment (LLLT, Low

Level Light Therapy).

B. ORGANIZATION

This is a lecture course in which topics are presented by the instructor, diagrams of the scalp and slides on how

LLLT penetrates the scalp and affects the three phases of hair growth. There are explained, and hands on operat-

ing the clinical and home cold lasers. Objectives are to leave the student with enough knowledge to began treat-

ing their clients who suffer from any form of hair loss but is a first phase to ongoing training to become experts

in the field of Laser Therapy. This basic knowledge course therefore assumes no previous experience or training,

so the initial emphases are on identifying the different types of hair loss and the use of equipment and basic pro-

cedures.

C. COURSE OBJECTIVES To introduce students to the use of medical cold laser and how they can be used in conjunction with an all

natural internal and topical vitamin.

To introduce students to various types of hair prosthetics that can be worn while receiving cold laser therapy.

Our classes are Cosmetology Advance Training Career Pro-grams and are designed and administered to prepare students in

the skills necessary for performing hair replacement, hairstyl-

ing, permanent waving, coloring, scalp analysis for hair loss,

low level laser therapy and application of hair prosthesis.

After completion of the first phase of training the student enters

into a team of stylist unique to the industry and has the oppor-

tunity to travel and perform their newly developed skills at any event that Team Iconic host or attend. The next phase of training will depend on the stu-
