The challenge of the Haiku…..A Haiku is made up of only 3 lines!This is the challenge of Haiku - to put the poem's
meaning and imagery in the reader's mind in ONLY 17 syllables and just 3 lines of poetry!

First Line: Five syllablesSecond Line: Seven syllablesLast Line: Five syllablesThird line contains five (5) syllables

Line 2: 7 syllables Fluffy, lumpy, cotton balls Fluf/fy, lump/y, cot/ton balls
Line 3: 5 syllables Silver, gray, and white Sil/ver, gray, and white
