Great Ormond Street Hospital
We have continued to support the children of Great Ormond Street Hospital with our Eid Gifts project for its fifth year running. The gifts are delivered to the hospital, who then distribute them in time for their in-house Eid Al Adhacelebratory event. The Eid Gifts project is a fun way of getting children to connect with thetraditions of Islam.

UK Flood Appeal Human Aid UK responded in the areas affected by the floods in Yorkshire, which forced people out of their homes in late December 2015. Volunteers from Human Aid UK helped with cleaning up homes and streets. We supported families with the removal of damaged goods and distributed hardship grants to help rebuild their homes.

The lack of clean water in Gaza has caused health problems for the population. Often, these health problems are due to the high concetration of nitrate and chloride.
We are continuing to support the water project for the second year running now.
The water tanker distributes clean drinking water around the Gaza strip and provides to mosques, hospitals, schoolsand many families.
A second water tanker hasbeen donated to increasewater distribution.

Through established local networks, Human Aid UK has continued to maintain the support for the displaced Burmese family residing in scattered areas of Bangladesh.
Countless people are still left without the right to reside, and with little to no support, their lives depend on taking sustenance and aid from charities. The lack of assistance for unregistered refugees and host communities has lead tensions over scarce resources e.g. water and firewood. Consequently, this has escalated to physical and sexual hostility towards refugees, women and girls. no legalprotection for theundocumented refugees.
Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene Promotion
We have continued to build tube wells for the Burmese refugees. This year, we have built a further 51 tube wells, which brings the total number of tube wells in the refugee camps to 72, from last year’s 21.

Human Aid UK is fully committed to operating on a 100% donations policy. Every penny donated is strictly for the charitable purposes.
Indeed, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due and when you judge between people to judge with justice. Excellent is that which Allah instructs you. Indeed, Allah is ever Hearing and Seeing. (Surah Nisa Verse 58)
Human Aid UK understands the importance of amanah and the responsibility and accountability it brings. It is why every single pound that Human Aid UK receives is fully allocated to its designated cause and not a single penny is removed for other purposes. For example, if a donor gives £35 with the intention of helping an orphan, we ensure the orphan receives the full £35 Insha’Allah.
