S. Government demand deposits, and increases of $92 million in savings deposits and $116 million in "Other" time deposits. Commercial and industrial loans decreased a net of $95 million. Loans to brokers and dealers for purchasing or carrying D« S . Government and other securities increased $46 million. Loans to nonbank financial institutions decreased $60 million. CONDITION OF WEEKLY REPORTING MEMBER BANKS IN LEADING CITIES

The condition statement of weekly reporting member banks in leading cities shows the following principal changes for the week ended May 10: Decreases of $349 million in holdings of Treasury tills, $330 million in balances with domestic banks, $304 mil-lion in demand deposits adjusted, and $610 million in U. S. Government demand deposits, and increases of $92 million in savings deposits and $116 million in "Other" time deposits.

Commercial and industrial loans decreased a net of $95 million. Loans to brokers and dealers for purchasing or carrying D« S . Government and other securities increased $46 million. Loans to nonbank financial institutions decreased $60 million.

Borrowings of weekly reporting member banks from Federal Reserve Banks increased $167 million and borrowings from others increased $349 million. Loans to domestic commercial banks increased $160 million.
