• H3OTM – Interfaces– Lab Equipment Interface: -

• Lab equipments like Auto analyzer, Blood Gas Analyzer, Cell Counter etc. can be interfaced to HIS, Test results captured from these Equipments are directly posted into the HIS. Results can be viewed in Point of Cares like Wards, ICU, Physician’s Module and Emergency.

– PACS Interface: -• PACS/Radworks (RW) manages the “workflow” in the radiology

department. By integrating HIS with RW, HIS work list will be displayed in the RW and reporting can be done from the RW terminal, which can be viewed from HIS applications and vice versa.

• By using the web viewer, the selected patient image can be viewed from HIS application.

• Images and reports can be viewed by clinicians from Nursing stations, OT, Cath Lab etc.

• PACS Solution– The dicomPACS® software embraces the acquisition, processing,

transfer and archiving of graphical material.– dicomPACS® offers you the possibility to arrange each of your

workstations entirely ideally and individually, due to its functionality, which comes with many innovative solutions for various challenges.

– Our software was developed and designed in close co-operation with specialists, meaning today, we can give you a user-friendly, well thought-out instrument, of which we are extremely proud.

– dicomPACS® masters simple image processing requirements as easily as complex radiological networks (PACS). A dicomPACS® network is always able to adapt, due to its modular construction. It is upgradeable and modifiable, so that even specific tasks, e.g. tele-medicine, webserver, pre-operative planning or 3D reconstruction can be effortlessly integrated in our system.

• PACS Solution– The integration of your system with the DICOM archive-interface is

absolutely trouble-free, irrespective of the different IT systems or file-formats that your departments or divisions may have. The result is that all files are immediately available: Word documents, sound documents, images, films and diagrams, regardless of the type.

– A single mouse click is enough. With the use of a simple and flexible handling concept, even newcomers can easily orientate themselves.

– The result: You can dedicate your-self more to your patients, instead of the administration of his or her file, because with dicomPACS® it simply administers itself.

Out of the box Product Offering

• Digital Signature– It is a mechanism for providing an extremely high level of trust that signed

data file is authentic, and tamper free, typically using PKA. It is believed to be highly resistant to forgery, unlike written, physical signatures.

– Users needs to have a digital certificate (With a public key or user id and authentication of a password to enter in to application) issued by the valued certifying authority like VeriSign, etc. Once the user gets the digital certificate & corresponding authentication user id. And password then he has to get the digital signature interface to HIS – IHSMS, which will use the details for the application to authenticate & to insert digital signature on the electronic documents & reports through the HIS – IHSMS.

– Digital signature provided authentication, data integrity, & non repudiation to the electronic documents, contents & transactions. Its may also be used to support confidentiality (encryption, scrambling), primarily by exchange of symmetric user id & password.

Communication Management

• The Communications Management Plan sets the communications framework for this project. It will serve as a guide for communications throughout the life of the project and will be updated as communication needs change. This plan identifies and defines the roles of persons involved in this project. It also includes a communications matrix which maps the communication requirements of this project. An in-depth guide for conducting meetings details the communications rules and how the meetings will be conducted, ensuring successful meetings. A project team directory is included to provide contact information for all stakeholders directly involved in the project.

Quality Management

Title Description

What is SQA The function of software quality that assures that the standards, processes, and procedures are appropriate for the project and are correctly implemented.

How is it different from SQC SQC relates to a specific product or service whereas SQA is concerned with all of the products that will ever be produced by a process.SQC identifies defects for the primary purpose of correcting defects whereas SQA evaluates whether or not quality control is working for the primary purpose of determining whether or not there is a weakness in the process.SQC is the responsibility of the worker whereas SQA is a management responsibility, frequently performed by a staff function .

Typical Roadmap The SQA roadmap includes: A quality assurance plan. Approval and commitment from top management (Directors, Operational

Management) Assessing current capability and level Gap analysis between existing & proposed processes. Identifying Business and Quality Goals (short term, long term) Rewriting / enhancing processes to achieve goals

Ownership Independent SQA Group

Benefits Improved customer satisfaction Reduction in cost of development Low cost maintenance
