Summer Camp
2013
Our Rationale By spending three weeks at the Hellenic-American Educational
Foundation’s English Summer Camp, the day campers will have
the opportunity to experience fun and exciting activities, while
being immersed in the English language and culture. The camp
is structured to provide diverse learning opportunities in an
environment set up to uncover their strengths and interests. In
this setting, children work at their own pace, and direct their
energies wherever they like. Each session or series of sessions
is focused on giving children a sense of accomplishment and
personal achievement. There is no success or failure; there is
only a lot of enthusiasm and positive energy.
Camp Staff The English Summer Camp Staff is comprised
by young, energetic and enthusiastic employees
of the Hellenic-American Educational foundation
who have an excellent command of the English
language.
Camp Schedule & Activities The English Summer Camp combines a variety of activities that appeal to everyone’s interests. Camp
begins each morning at 8:45 with an assembly. Students are then separated into their respective
groups and rotate amongst the various activities.
Every group will spend an hour a day learning about and playing an American sport. They will also enjoy
an hour in the swimming pool where they will be engaged in various activities and games. In addition,
the Camp offers, on a daily basis, an hour of Art and Music. Moreover, each day includes three D.Y.T
Sessions (Discover your Talents) where the children will experience different activities tailored to pro-
mote their talents and meet their needs.

Attica Park Visit
Taking a field trip to the Attica Park is an exciting way for campers
to learn about nature and its inhabitants. The Attica Park provides
shelter for hundreds of different animal species that children can
see and learn about. Our little campers are encouraged to adopt a
caring and respectful attitude towards animals.
During their three-week experience, children over 8 years old will have the opportunity
to discover the true meaning of outdoor camping! Our little adventurers will pitch their
tents, enjoy playing games around the premises and watch a movie under the stars.
These three nights will be unforgettable!
Camp-out Nights
Surprise for 2013! Campers will have the chance to do three D.Y.T sessions in the
