The dates are Thursday, April 25 thru Sunday, April 27. On Thursday we will need someone starting at Noon. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we will need workers begin- ning at 7:30 a.m. We will need workers until at least midnight or maybe even longer. We will post a schedule for signing up soon. This is a major fund raising event for the Llano 4-H program and we desperate- ly will need all the help we can get. We know it is hard work and long hours, but it is for a good cause for the 4-Hers. Call the Extension office at 325-247-5159 or 325-247-4849 to sign up for the shifts or email Jennifer: [email protected] All exhibitors will be required by the Llano County Junior Livestock Show Association to write one or more thank-you letters to their buyers and other donors. Addresses should be available within a couple of weeks. After you have written your letters, you must bring them to the Extension office in a sealed envelope, stamped and addressed. They will be mailed from our office. Stock Show Association rules state Thank You notes must be submitted by the first business day of April, 2019.Once the Stock Show Association has received all the money, we will notify you that the checks are ready for pickup and then they must be deposited by the first business day of June, 2019 or they become the property of the Llano County Junior Livestock Show Association. Texas Brigades Youth Leadership Summer Camps are now Accepting Applications. Seven Leadership camps focus on natural resources and wild-life conservation and are open to youth 13-17 years of age. The all-inclusive tuition for each camp is $500 per participant and the applica-tion deadline is March 15th. The 2019 Summer Camp Dates and locations are:

• June 7-11, Rolling Plains Bobwhite Brigade, Centennial Lodge, Cole-man.

Junior and Intermediate age con-testants (age 8 and in the 3rd grade to age 13 as of August 31, 2018) are invited to participate in the District 7 4-H Photography Contest. Seniors (ages 14 and older as of August 31, 2018) may participate in the State 4-H Pho-tography Contest.

Both junior and senior entries are due to the Llano Extension Office on or before

March 29, 2019 by 4:00 p.m.

You can find the rules and guidelines for both Juniors and Seniors at http://d74-h.tamu.edu/district-events/photography-contest/.

If you need help, please come by the Extension Office and we will print you out a copy. Seniors – do not enter any-thing on 4-H Connect until after the March 30 deadline just in case there is competition in a category.
