CLUB OF THE MONTH
6th grade October Club of the Month goes to Mrs. Stanley’s 4th period
class. Runner-up for Club of the Month is Mr. Rakosnik’s 2nd period
class at PCMS.
5th grade October Club of the Month goes to Mrs. Huskin’s 5th grade class
from PCES. Runner-up for Club of the Month is the Gatewood 5th grade
class.

Do you like science? Building and investigating things? Maybe STEM subjects interest you…if so, then you should join STEM Club! We meet once a month after school to do hands on STEM activities. Each meeting is just $5 (to help cover supplies)!

Do you have a sense of adventure and a great imagination?! Books can take you to all sorts of places and teach you all sorts of things. Join us as we host a monthly book club.

Great American Peanut Cook Off
Georgia 4-H Peanut Recipe Contest
December 16th 4:00-5:00 pm FREE!!
Come to the Putnam County 4-H Office to showcase your skills in this food
challenge. You will be challenged to come up with a Sandwich recipe
utilizing Peanuts and to create it in the time allotted. Peanut Butter and
Bread will be provided.
You may bring additional ingredients with you!!

Holiday Chorus Limited: 12 youth
Practices after school until 5:00 pm: 12/3; 12/11; 12/18
Event: 12/19
Join us as we learn to sing some holiday songs, and travel to local nursing homes to
deliver holiday cards and provide carols. We will have two practices, and then we
will spend a day visiting local nursing homes and assisted living homes to provide
holiday cheer. Lily Thomas a 9th grade 4-H’er will be leading this club. Lily is on the
Georgia 4-H Clover and Company singing group and is excited to show you teach
you some things about singing!!
Adult Volunteers Needed ! We are looking for some adults who have a
passion for helping youth develop skills to grow
into successful adults.

County Project Achievement Who: YOU!!! We will host CPA in all 4th-6th grade classes.
All students will be asked to present a demonstration!
What: Cloverleaf CPA is a public speaking competition.
4-H’ers will develop a demonstration, which consists of a 3-5 minute speech and visual
aids, and will present their demonstration in their classroom.
When/Where: Competition will be during our December Club Mtgs
Get Started Today Winners will be invited to compete at the District competition
against youth from other schools on: Saturday February 1st

Sponsored by the Southeast United Dairy Industry Association, Inc (SUDIA)
Come to the Putnam County 4-H Office to showcase your skills in this food
challenge. Each participant must create a milk-based drink such as milkshakes
and smoothies for the contest. The main ingredient should be milk and the
recipe should include amount of ingredients, number of servings, and directions
for preparing the drink. Drinks will be created at the 4-H office and will be
judged on nutrition, appeal, creativity, recipe presentation, and recipe content.
Milk will be provided, and you may bring additional ingredients with you.
