KYLE CLEMENTS
Gypsy music
• The Gypsy music mingled with death in a way like no other. The music interpreted the sadness and fear even more than ever.
LAWS TARGETINGGYPSIES
• For centuries Europeans regarded Gypsies as social out casts.
• A Bavarian law of July 16, 1926 for combating gypsies. The law prohibited gypsies from roaming or camping in bands.
Gypsy stereotypes
• They assumed gypsies of having physic powers.
• Roma was considered as, beggars, swindlers, and thieves, thus the phrase (I've been gypped).
Understanding The Gypsies
• I personally don’t think the Europeans should have been so prejudice towards the gypsies that they should have tried to understand them more and learn about them.
Gypsy Laws
• The gypsies were completely forbidden to marry a German citizen. The gypsies pretty much had there civil rights taking away from them.
Violence towards Gypsies
• Life for the gypsies was not easy they had to live in very harsh conditions.
• The worst part about life for the gypsies was the stereotypes and the brutal racism.
