As of 2015 Gympie Junior Rugby League implemented a policy which will continue this season. GJRL will follow on with schools’ suspensions.
He/she will also be suspended from playing club football for the same period of time.
The player will however still have to fulfil their obligation to his/her team by attending training and games during the suspension period.
Coaches will be responsible of notifying the committee.
Any child over 12 years old is to sign medical form to acknowledge suspension rule.
Player Behaviour
2019 will see a new club policy regarding player behaviour. Anyone who receives three warnings regarding his or her behaviour will
result in no game.
Canteen
This season will see an introduction to a rostering system for the canteen for all teams/parents to participate in. It will be mandatory for all teams
to provide volunteers for the canteen. Mini Mod parents will be required on a Friday night, Internationals at
home games on Saturday’s or Friday nights if the teams are playing.
This roster will allow you to still watch your child play football and be for a very minimal time.
Team managers will be liaising with parents regarding times and dates etc.
