OneCity Stories: Multimedia Composingfor St. Louis YouthPlease let your high school students know about OneCity Stories, a writing programdesigned for students to share their perspectives and experiences as young people

growing up in St. Louis. Students will create and publish multimedia projects with thesupport of experts in journalism, �lm, and radio. The program runs June 11 - 29 at UMSLat Grand Center. The tuition is $450 for the whole three week program with scholarshipsavailable. 2018 Summer InstituteIn Summer 2018, we will o�er two summer institutes—one at the UMSL main campus andone at our outreach site at Je�erson College. We will also be pairing this on-site 6-hourgraduate class with another 12 hours of online and/or hybrid classes to �nish out an 18-hour Graduate Certi�cate in the Teaching of Writing. You are our best advertisement, so please share this �yer far and near--and don’t forgetabout your content area colleagues! The summer institute is richer when we have crossgrades (elementary-college) and cross discipline teachers. We appreciate any help you canprovide in helping us spread the word!
