The course of instruction for the Bachelor of Science (PHYSICAL EDUCATION,

HEALTH EDUCATION & SPORTS))

consist of the following parts:

PART-II THEORY

Note:

(i) Examination in Skill and Prowess and Practical‟s shall be conducted jointly by an internal

and external examiner. All the activities to be conducted and examined be clubbed into 4-5

groups and each group of activities be examined by the two examiners indicated above. The

Principal will form the groups of activities and intimate the same to the University. Scoring

Tables of Athletics attached at the end of the syllabus shall be used.

(ii) If a candidate who fails to qualify or who misses the examination in any activity/activities

in the first term, it is obligatory for him to appear in the activities of the first term along

with the final examination

PART-I: SKILL AND PROWESS: -

PRACTICE OF TEACHING AND OFFICIATING 200 Marks

(I) 15 supervised lessons 30 Marks

(II) 10 Officiating assignments 20 Marks

Note: Evaluation in lessons and officiating assignments shall be made by a board of three

examiners appointed by the principal.

Principal will certify that all the requirement pertaining to the teaching practice and officiating have

been fulfilled by the candidate.

(III) Formal lesson (Action song, Motion story) 75 Marks

(IV) General lesson (Formal Activity) 75 Marks

Note: Two lessons of 75 Marks each will be delivered by each candidate at the time of final

examination and will be evaluated by one internal and one external examiner.

(iii) Examination in Skill and Prowess and Practical‟s shall be conducted jointly by an internal

and external examiner. All the activities to be conducted and examined be clubbed into 4-5

groups and each group of activities be examined by the two examiners indicated above. The

Principal will form the groups of activities and intimate the same to the University. Scoring

Tables of Athletics attached at the end of the syllabus shall be used.

(iv) If a candidate who fails to qualify or who misses the examination in any activity/activities

in the first term, it is obligatory for him to appear in the activities of the first term along

with the final examination

(vii) Examination in Skill and Prowess and Practical‟s shall be conducted jointly by an internal

and external examiner. All the activities to be conducted and examined be clubbed into 4-5

groups and each group of activities be examined by the two examiners indicated above. The

Principal will form the groups of activities and intimate the same to the University. Scoring

Tables of Athletics attached at the end of the syllabus shall be used.

(viii) If a candidate who fails to qualify or who misses the examination in any activity/activities

in the first term, it is obligatory for him to appear in the activities of the first term along

Note:

(ix) Examination in Skill and Prowess and Practical‟s shall be conducted jointly by an internal

and external examiner. All the activities to be conducted and examined be clubbed into 4-5

groups and each group of activities be examined by the two examiners indicated above. The

Principal will form the groups of activities and intimate the same to the University. Scoring

Tables of Athletics attached at the end of the syllabus shall be used.

(x) If a candidate who fails to qualify or who misses the examination in any activity/activities

in the first term, it is obligatory for him to appear in the activities of the first term along

with the final examination

Note: Evaluation in lessons and officiating assignments shall be made by a board of three

examiners appointed by the principal.

(xi) Examination in Skill and Prowess and Practical‟s shall be conducted jointly by an internal

and external examiner. All the activities to be conducted and examined be clubbed into 4-5

groups and each group of activities be examined by the two examiners indicated above. The

Principal will form the groups of activities and intimate the same to the University. Scoring

Tables of Athletics attached at the end of the syllabus shall be used.

(xii) If a candidate who fails to qualify or who misses the examination in any activity/activities

in the first term, it is obligatory for him to appear in the activities of the first term along

with the final examination

Note: Evaluation in lessons and officiating assignments shall be made by a board of three

examiners appointed by the principal.
