Gun violence has become a major problem in many countries such as Philippines.

It has brought about many tragedies and other unfortunate events such as the

Maguindanao Massacre, Manila Hostage Crisis, Terrorist attac in !rance, "andy Hoo

#lementary "chool shooting incident in the $"% and the recent case of the !allen && of

the P'P("%!. )espite that, these guns *ere also used to protect the nation, to obtain

+peace and +freedom, to feel a +sense of security, to defend one-s self and to save alife. This issue then spars t*o uestions/ +Is it really guns and other 0rearms that are

evil or is it humans *ho abuse it that are the real demons1 and +2ould going for a

gunless society be the ans*er to this problem that the several generations before have

been trying to solve1. 2henever I say +gunless society, I 0rst thin of a place *here

guns don-t e3ist, cannot be seen and are never needed nor used.
