The perfect trip for fishing lovers; we will depart from the calm waters of Panama Beach and head west for 20 NM (60 minutes) to get to the fishing grounds where we will look for, blue marlin, stripped marlin, sail fish, yellow fin tunas and mahi-mahi. For the inshore trip we will head to the North 17 NM. (50 minutes) to get to Bat´s Island National Park, a small archipelago protected since 1972 which will allow us to practice sport fishing outside the limits of the park. This fishing ground is great for sail fish, cubera snappers, wahoo, amberjack, roosterfish, mackerel, jacks and other species.

On this full day tour, we will take you to the most important areas of the oldest and largest national park in Costa Rica, Santa Rosa National Park. It is the last primary dry forest in C.R founded in March 1972, and recently declared by the UNESCO as a World Heritage. This park has 192.000 acres of marine area. We will cruise around the famous surf spot ¨Witches Rock¨ and stop in front of Nancite Beach, which is known for being a nesting place for Ridley turtles. These turtles come ashore to lay their eggs, with an arrival of about 100.000 from September to November. Next stop is Bat´s Island, where we will visit the ranger station located in the main island, at a spot called ¨El Refugio¨. This place is amazing for snorkeling or for taking a short hike to the peaks of the island, overlooking the archipelago. We will sail around looking for dolphins, false killer whales, giant pacific stingrays and whale sharks.

Time on the water will be a mix of kayaking and fishing with total distances not expected to exceed 2 NM. These trips are designed to be enjoyable...not a hard-core work out. You will receive detailed instruction on kayak fishing and no prior experience is necessary. All equipment is provided so all you have to bring is a sense of adventure.

Stand up paddle boarding is the fastest growing water sport, which provides you with a total work out that will make you ask for more.
