Memorandum of works in brief and terms and conditions

Name of work: All in comprehensive yearly maintenance service/work for (A) 250 LPH

capacity three RO Plant at admin building, Chandkheda, Ahmedabad (B) 50 LPH one RO

Plant at admin building, Chandkheda and (C) 250 LPH capacity three RO Plant at Old GNLU

building, Sector-26, Gandhinagar (D) 50 LPH one RO Plant at Block-6, L.D Engineering

Campus, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad

Nature of work: Annual Maintenance Contract of RO Plant

Period of Contract Twelve Months and it may be extended for one year after satisfactory

service on same terms and conditions.

Date of start of downloading tender: 19/06/2019 from 11:00 hrs.

Last date of physical submission of tender: 01/07/2019 up to 18:00 hrs. by registered

post/speed post/courier only

Tender Fee: Rs.600/- in form of Demand Draft of nationalized/scheduled bank in the name

of Gujarat Technological University payable at Ahmedabad.

E.M.D.: Rs.3500/- in form of Demand Draft of nationalized/scheduled bank in the name of

Gujarat Technological University payable at Ahmedabad.

Security Deposit: The firms/agency whose offer is accepted will have to pay the security

deposit of Rs.17500/- in form of Demand Draft of Nationalized/Scheduled bank in the

name of Gujarat Technological University payable at Ahmedabad. No interest shall be paid

for security deposit.

Eligibility of Bidders/prequalification criteria

(1) Copy of GST registration certificate of firm

(2) Copy of Pan Card

(3) Copy of Valid Solvency Certificate issued in current calendar year from

Nationalized/Scheduled bank amounting of Rs.1,00,000/-.

(4) Copy of works completed and on hand (work order) of such kind of work for last

three years

Mode of Sending the tender

Two cover bid tender. Two separate cover consisting of technical bid (Eligibility Criteria) in

one cover and commercial bid (Schedule B) in second cover. Both covers shall be put in

main single sealed cover including DD of tender fee and EMD and shall be submitted in

sealed cover by registered post/speed post/courier only

Description essential to be made on single sealed cover

The main single cover must be superscribed "Tender document for All in comprehensive

yearly maintenance service/work for RO Plant installed at Admin Building, Ahmedabad,

Old GNLU building, Gandhinagar & Block-6 L.D engineering Campus, Ahmedabad". Two

separate cover put in main single cover shall be superscribed as technical bid cover and

commercial bid cover.

Date of opening of tender

(1) Part-1, technical bid on Dt.02/07/2019 at 12:00 noon in the conference room no. C-

106 by Estate Maintenance Committee

(2) Part-2 commercial bid. This bid will be opened after scrutiny of prequalification criteria

and shall be opened only those tenderers who will technically/PQ succeeded. Date will be

intimated.

Instructions and Conditions:

For providing the rate for AMC of RO Plant, firm/agency can visit the sites during

working hours except holiday

The registrar of GTU does not bind himself to accept the lowest or any tender or to give

any reasons for the decision. He is having the right to accept or to reject any or all the

tenders without giving reasons.

The tenderers should have minimum of three years' experience in working of similar

nature of works.

Preference will be given to agencies having experience in the field of AMC works of

University/Hospitals/Industries/Education Campuses etc.

The notice of tender and terms and conditions shall form the part of the contract of

document

The firm/agency will have to enter into an agreement on Rs 100 stamp paper whose

offer is accepted

The validity of the tender shall be 60 days from date of financial bid opening

1% of bill amount will be recover for labour cess, over and above TDS.

The material of approved brand as shown in schedule-B will have to be used and

agency will have to approve all the materials before bringing to site.

Rates to be quoted shall be inclusive of all material, hardware, labour, fabrication,

fixing, freight, GST & all taxes, safe storage of material and equipment's,

scaffolding/staging if required

Note:

(A) Terms & conditions:

(1) Periodical preventive and repair service to keep plants functional all time at every one month.

(2) Attending all break down calls during AMC period within 24 hours all time including holidays.

(3) Making functional the R.O. plant within 48 hrs of complain. In case of default, a penalty of

Rs.300/hr shall be levied and deducted from the relevant bill.

(4) Replacement of wound cartridge at every two months.

(5) Dosing chemical shall be supplied at the rate of 15 Ltr/plant at every three months for 250

LPH RO plant.

(6) Any modification/upgradation/repairing work required for RO Plant before start of AMC

should be endure by agency.

(7) The existing membrane should be replaced with new CSM brand or equivalent membrane by

the agency at the start of AMC and during AMC as and when required. Also providing new

Lubi or equivalent raw water pump & high pressure pump during AMC as and when required.

(8) This item includes cost of any parts/components mechanical/electrical/FRP Vessel/ Bakelite/

U-PVC pipe fitting/plastic/media filter/membrane or any other including cost of material

and labour including all taxes, servicing and making functional the R.O. plant.

(9) Certificate of TDS value certified by relevant nodal officer after every service shall be attached

with the bill for Item. TDS value should not exceed 250 at any time.

(10) Service card showing all the details like change of parts and servicing shall be maintained for

plant separately and shall be attached with bill certified by relevant nodal officer.

(B) Payment terms:

Payment shall be made after maintenance/service work of the specified month in the next

month with duly submission of bill with maintenance/service report.

Declaration:
