Guiding Scripture
“Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that
so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance
the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus,
the pioneer and perfecter of faith.”
—Hebrews 12: 1b-2a
The Journey
To be free to serve God.• Galatians 5:13 “For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an
opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.”
To experience God and be involved in His purposes and will. • Malachi 3:10b “… Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the
floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”
To grow spiritually. • 2 Corinthians 8:7 “But just as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete
earnestness and in your love for us—see that you also excel in this grace of giving.”
To free up funds to advance His kingdom.• 2 Corinthians 9:6 “Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever
sows generously will also reap generously.”
To enjoy great fellowship. • 1 Thessalonians 5:11 “encourage one another and build each other up.”
To celebrate with thanksgiving.• Deuteronomy 16:10 “Then celebrate…to the Lord your God by giving a freewill offering in proportion
to the blessings the Lord your God has given you.”

The Numbers
How much will be freed up for Mission?
Assumes $2 Million in FFM Pledges, paid equally over 3 year pledge period:
Example 1-- Immediate impact in 2016
$2,000,000 ÷3 years= $660,000 per year in FFM pledge payments
Year 1 collected Pledge = $660,000 x 20% = $132,000
Uses: Community Hope - $30,000
Walk with Rwanda - TBD
Other Mission Partners- TBD
Example 2 – Longer Term Impact – 3 years
