Successfully Guiding Preschoolers Through Daily TransitionsTraining Description (Brackbill, 2018):

The integrity and coherence of the day in an early childhood program depend on how transitions are defined and handled. Proper transitional planning can transform what seems like a series of unrelated activities into a day that flows from a critical phase to another.

In this online training, learners will determine the nature of transitions; identify transition times in their daily schedule; recognize the importance of using transitional time wisely; learn how to reduce or eliminate unneeded transitions and implement transitional activities as a planned part of their curriculum to extend learning activities. The training will be accessible in both English and Spanish (para-1-3).
