Veterans’ ceremony – Battle of Great BritainA ceremony will be held at Laurie-J.-Cormier Park beginning at 1:30 p.m. to commemorate the Battle of Great Britain and to honour the efforts of the air forces during the Second World War. In case of rain, the ceremony will be held at the Club d’âge d’or de Dieppe (445 Acadie Avenue).

Wool sock WalkBoFM and CJSE Radio employees, as well as members of the P.R.O. Kids committee and their friends, will don wool socks and walk 10,000 steps along the streets of Dieppe and Memramcook. The event’s goal is to raise more than $15,000, with the Dieppe Co-Op matching the amount raised. The funds will be used to pay for registrations for youth taking part in sport, recreation and cultural activities in Dieppe and Memramcook. Info: 877.5022 or [email protected]
