GUIDELINES FOR EDITORIAL BOARD

INDONESIAN SCHOLARS CONFERENCE SYSTEM

(IS CONSYS)


1. First Registration :

Filled out the registration form. Once you click “register” button, you will get a notification email from our admin

in order to activate your account. Please follow the instructions in your email.

2. Login into your account and go to editorial page

Now, you have registered succesfully in our website. Welcome at IS Journal Conference System. Please login

into your account in the appropriate space.


Before checking submitted paper, please click “edit profile” button to edit your data. Then continue to click

“editorial page” on the menu. Now, you are able to manage the new submitted paper.

Then choose the available option to accept or reject the submitted paper. Make sure that you select the correct

option and please pay attention to the suitability between manuscript’s title and category.

Once you click “accept invitation” button, you will need to choose appropriate reviewer from a database list,

invite external reviewer or just choose a self reviewing option.


Once first review process finished, you will get a notification to your email.

3. Revision or Accepted/Rejected

Once you get an email notification, you need to view submitted paper status in the dashboard of editorial page

then click preview.


Please check reviewer’s evaluation and comments for the manuscript. In this case, editor need to add

additional evaluation and comments and click submit. At this session, you have finish the first review process.

If our editor, reveiwer and editor in chief confirm that there is no revision for the paper, you will get a notification

email for the final manuscript status.


Please do the manuscript reviewing process again from the beginning if there are still a revision until the

manuscript status change to accepted. All reviewer comments on the manuscript will be sent to the author’s

email and can be seen in your control panel account as illustrate in the previous figure.

Please noted that the manuscript status are always changing automatically whenever a new decision set by

our reviewer, editor or editor in chief. Status “in reviewing process” means the paper is being examined by both

the editors and the reviewers.

4. Accepted

Now, the status of the paper is “accepted”. It means that editor in chief have considered the paper to be

published in terms of content.


In addition, to ensure that the final paper is also in the correct format in accordance with the template, our

publisher will recheck the final paper. Once our publisher found that the paper is still not appropriate, the

author is required to correct the paper and re-submit to our publisher. It is the end of the paper reviewing

process in the system. The status of the paper is “published”. It means that the paper will be published in the

proceeding.

The following figure is the whole submission process and also the typical timeline that associates with each

process. The deadlines for each process could be different for different conferences, please contact the

conferences committee for more details.

Finally, on the behalf of the editorial office, we appreciate your job and thank you very much for your interest in

managing the review process of our manuscript. We are waiting for another contribution in the future.
