Manchester Guided Walks & ToursWhether you’re visiting Manchester for a day or you’ve known the city for years, there is no better way of exploring the city than with anexperienced and knowledgeable tour guide. As well as seeing all themajor landmarks and attractions, you will learn about the city’s secretsand discover the hidden gems that tourists often miss. Further leafletswill be printed to publicise walks and tours from May-December 2010.

Blue and Green Badge Tour GuidesAll of the guided walks listed in the calendar are led by Blue and GreenBadge Tour Guides, who have undertaken extensive training and areregistered with the Institute of Tourist Guiding. Entertaining andinformative, reliable and professional with local and up-to-dateknowledge, these guides love Manchester, and love to show you why!

Enjoy a tourFor the majority of the walks in this booklet, pre-booking is notnecessary. Just arrive at the start location five minutes before thedesignated start time and the guide will be there to meet you. If you wishto guarantee your place on any tour you can contact the guide directly to ensure your place. If there is a large group of you (six or more) bookingis recommended.

Some tours are indicated as pre-booking essential (�) and places onthese tours cannot be guaranteed if not pre-booked beforehand.
