1. On The SPS main Page select Digital Tools.

2. Then select Blackboard Learn

3. To log in to Blackboard use the following information for your user name and password.

User Name: Student Id Number

Password: Birthday (8 digit)

4. Once logged into Blackboard you will find a box titled My Classes. Choose “Physical Science S2” BE SURE YOU CHOOSE THE PHYSICAL SCIENCE CLASS THAT HAS “S2” NEXT TO YOUR TEACHER’S NAME AND THE YEAR!!

5. On the left side, choose “COURSEWORK” (If you don’t see the menu on the left, look for a small arrow > on the middle of the screen on the far left.

6. Under COURSEWORK you will be able to choose from 6 units. Each unit has reading, assignments and other activities. You can pick one that interests you by looking at the Learning Targets and Unit Descriptions. When we return to school, in 8th Grade Science we will finish Force and Motion and move on to a deeper dive into Energy concepts, so Units 2 and 3 may be useful places to start.
