The Congressional FundCaring for Congressional
Throughout our history, Congressional School has
benefited from a culture of philanthropy. Our most
important annual fundraising effort, The Congressional
Fund, ensures that we meet the daily needs of our
students, faculty and programs. Support for Congressional
School comes from all constituent groups – parents,
alumni, faculty, staff, the Board of Trustees and local
businesses. Participation is key and every gift, regardless
of size, makes a difference. Your tax-deductible gift
provides professional development experiences for our
faculty, the ability to sustain and enhance key academic
programs and augment the budget.

Sponsorship and Underwriting: September 1 – August 31
Generous support comes from current parents, Board Members, independent high schools, local businesses and friends of Congressional School. Funds raised through sponsorship and underwriting support major events throughout the year. In addition, sponsors and underwriters enjoy a variety of benefits and are recognized throughout the 2015-2016 academic year.

Hosted in April, the Gala is one of our largest community events of the year. This year’s theme is Congo Nights: A 70’s Flashback! Families from across Congressional School, volunteer and help raise needed funds to support a major school project. Recent projects have been the new Lower & Middle School playground, Sport Court, building and classroom improvements as well as enhancements in technology. Themes ranged from All that Glitters, A Gatsby Gala, Mission Possible and Swing into Spring in past years.
