How do I start my patent search? You can get a lot of good information about starting your patent search, and the patent application process, on the USPTO web site. If you have access to an internet connected computer, I highly recommend viewing the tutorials below before starting your patents search. If you do not have an internet connected computer and would like to view these tutorials at the library, you will need to bring your own headphones. You can also do some of your initial searching from home, through the USPTO web site.
