Notes: After an area is made, the AB line,

spray pattern, sprayed lines, current locked

another area using the same method, tap the

Next Area button on the screen.

MAIN DISPLAY

After an area is made, Guia Lite enters the

Spray mode showing the guidance for pilot to

spray the area.

1. XT Bar: Shown at the top of the screen. The

full bar on the screen equals 10 LEDs on the

lightbar.

2. Compass: Red needle pointing true North.

3. Tank Gauge: Material remaining in tank

4. Flight Lines: Shown as the row of numbers

at the bottom of screen. The line locked for

14

guidance is shown with white number. The

lines already sprayed are marked in green

5. A/C Heading indicator relative to the AB

line heading. It’s pointing up when a/c flying

parallel to the AB line, or AOI = 0.

6. The green T with a dashed line under a/c

icon indicates spray on.

7. The information on the sides is determined

by Settings Display.

In this picture, the a/c icon is plotted at the

middle of screen. The thick vertical white line

indicates the XT or distance from a/c to the

locked line. The line is white when the XT is

within 1.2 swath width, and red when XT

greater than 1.2 swath width.

When the a/c is outside the spray area

indicated by length of the AB line, 2 red

arrows are plotted at the top of the screen. If

they point down, the area is behind you. If they

point up, the area is ahead of you.

If spray is stopped in the middle of the locked

line, Guia Lite will remember the stop

location. When flying back to the field to

resume spraying the same line, a time

countdown will appear on screen. Once the

countdown hits 0, you are at the point where

spray was last stopped on the locked line.

Page 11: Guia Lite Handbook - Latest 2Guia Lite uses the Area Name every time you start a new area. If the same Area Name is used for the subsequent new area, name of the new area will be appended

before, tap the Old Area button on the

Home screen. Guia Lite will automatically

The drop down box allows you to select an old

area by area name, date and time when the area

was created, for example Barrie_7091813. The

system can save up to 10 old areas. When a

new area created after 10 areas have been

saved, the oldest area will be removed.

When you choose an area, for example

Barrie_7091813, the spray information saved

for this area will appear on the screen.

SprLength shows line number and spray

length. As shown above, 1562 meters was

sprayed on line 10.

Tap and buttons to navigate

through all the lines.

Tap the button to resume the area.

The locked line used in previous flight is used

again. If spray was stopped on the locked line,

the time countdown is shown. Follow the

guidance to continue the application.

7. FLYING WAYPOINTS

The Waypoint feature provides the guidance

to fly from a/c to a destination waypoint.

A waypoint can be any location such as spray

area, home airport, or loading zone.

Up to 10 waypoints can be recorded. Each

waypoint is identified by a name, latitude and

longitude. To enter or select a waypoint, tap

the Waypoint button on the Home

screen. Guia Lite will list all available

WPT Hdg: Heading from a/c to waypoint.

AOI: Difference between a/c heading and

WPT Hdg. Guidance is based on this AOI.

GS: Ground speed of a/c.

GT: Ground track of a/c.

Also on the main screen, WPT name is shown,

ex. “AgNav”. The WPT Hdg is used as the

reference heading represented by the white line

pointing UP with a red arrow. The a/c icon

with a green line rotates based on the AOI.

To get to the waypoint, steer a/c so that the

icon rotates and lining up with the white line.
