Stand upon the Mount of Olives and view the city asJesus did. Wander among the olive trees of the Garden ofGethsemane. Enter the Old City and see the Pool of Bethesda.You’ll walk along the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the HolySepulchre, built over the sites of the Crucifixion and Resurrection.Explore Bethlehem, where you’ll discover the cave revered as theplace where Jesus was born (Matt. 1; Luke 2). The church, whichwas constructed on the site, is the world’s oldest functioningchurch.

Oct. 13 - Sea of Galilee, IsraelWe dock at Haifa. Venture inland to the Sea of Galilee. You’llstand on the Mount of the Beatitudes where Jesus gave His mostwell-known sermon (Matthew 5). At Tabgha, the traditionallocation for the calling of the disciples and the feeding of the5000, you’ll find the Church of the Fish and the Loaves (Luke 9).Visit the Chapel of the Primacy where three times Peterprofessed his devotion to the risen Christ (John 21). Travel to theshore town of Capernaum where Jesus called Peter, Andrew,James, John (Matt. 4) and later Matthew. Stop by the RiverJordan where those who wish to be baptized may do so.

Travel to Corinth (Acts 18), a city that inspiredSt. Paul’s most familiar letter. You will visit the ArchaeologicalMuseum, the Market Place, and Temples. Walk among the ruinsand stand below the Bema where Paul stood. Read Acts 18where the event of Gallio judging Paul is reported.
