Proven Winners is looking to the future, and the future of our industry depends on the next generation of leaders. That’s why we created the Proven WinnersScholarship Program. We were greatly encouraged about the future of horticulture when we read the impressive applications of students from 31 universities and colleges this year, and look forward to seeing applications from technical college and post-secondary school students in the spring.

We want to recognize and support the academic talent that exists across North America by presenting a $25,000 scholarship program that will reach out to students in four-year universities as well as community colleges and vocational schools.

$25,000 in scholarship funds will be divided into eight scholarships and awarded in four areas:1. The Proven Winners Innovations in Plant Breeding Scholarship - $5,0002. The Proven Winners Innovations in Horticultural Marketing Scholarship - $5,0003. The Proven Winners Grower Excellence Scholarship - $5,0004. Proven Winners Scholarships for Technical or 2-year Post-Secondary Students – Five Scholarships, $2,000 each

Scholarship applicants must either be enrolled in a four-year university and be at least a sophomore, Masters and PhD students are eligible, or students must be enrolled full time in an accredited Technical or 2-year Post-Secondary Institution in the 2016 school year. Applicants must be enrolled in Horticultural Science or related fields, and they must hold a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Combination planters may be the highest priced plant item you sell, yet many times they are not labeled or the tags are buried in the soil. With the Container Style Program,you get one large, prominent tag for the complete combo.

When placing your order for liners, just let our propagators know these will be usedfor combinations and we will provide the proper combination tag that is suitable forhanging baskets or for upright containers. You don’t need to worry about the cost ofextra stake tags. When ordering multi-liner combinations, the appropriate tags will come automatically.

How to create your own custom tag:Contact your customer service representative at the Proven Winners propagator of your choice with the information needed to set up the tag, including the name of thecombination and the ingredients list. Your Proven Winners propagator will then pass on this information to the tag company, and the tags will be sent to you.

Please keep in mind the minimum tags per combination recipe is 210 (bundled in groups of 21). So, if you have a recipe you’d like to repeat for several years we’d be happy to set the tag for you.
