Images and SEO

•Images added to Wix site can be found by image search engines such as Google

Image Search. This means that you can drive traffic to the site with images!

•You can optimize your images for SEO by adding a description (for gallery

images), and most importantly, using Alt Text.

•As search engine robots can only "read" text, not images, Alt Text provides users

and search engines with information about your images.

•You should only add Alt Text to images that add value or give information to your

visitors. Decorative images which are not relevant to your site's content do not

need Alt text.
