HISTORICAL BACKGROUND OF G.S BARE
• Groupe Scolaire Bare (GS Bare) is a catholic school, started in 1945 as a primary school. Due to the government policy, in 2009 the school adopted the system of being a nine years basic education school (9YEB ), which is now twelve years basic education (12YBE) . It is located in the Eastern Province, Ngoma District, Mutendeli Sector in Rwanda. We are 17 km from the nearest large town of Kibungo. GS Bare has 1120 (557Girls ,563Boys) primary students and 512 (264 Boys ,248 Girls) secondary students. We also have a nursery school of 90 students.
We are a dynamic and growing school, with 2 nursery, 16 primary and 19 secondary teachers.we have a strong partnership with (IGS Mainz-Bretzenheim ) the school in Germany. Our partnership is based on exchanging ideas and improving our schools in different domains .

THREATS/ CHALLENGES
Far from National Parks of Rwanda (Difficult for students to visit)
Far from Kigali and the resources available there
No internet cafes nearby 17 kilometres away from the nearest large
town of Kibungo with limited transportation options
FUTURE PARTNERSHIP We are very grateful for the assistance we

future projects to strengthen our partnership and continue improving G.S Bare
We believe our partnership will help us overcome some of our weaknesses such as our old classrooms and lack of volleyball playground etc.
We would also like to propose closer collaboration between teachers of G.S Bare and IGS Mainz-Bretzenheim
