VolcanoWith the use of Baking Soda and Vinegar the volcano erupts.

Materials Used for Volcano Demo.CardboardPaint (Choose Your own Color)Volcano kit from Hobby Lobby ( works great
but you can also make your own out of plaster of Paris by forming it into a volcano shape with a center hole)
VinegarBaking SodaAny extra pictures or diorama you want to
use to make the volcano look real and fun.
![Page 8: Group: Ryan, Tyler, And Chris Class: Physical Science Instructor: Diane Phillips](https://reader035.vdocuments.us/reader035/viewer/2022062423/56649e6b5503460f94b69133/html5/thumbnails/8.jpg)
Volcano ActivityTo make the simulation of a volcano erupting,
simply put baking soda in the volcano hole. Add vinegar and a chemical reaction takes place and the volcano will erupt. You can add food color or even paint to give it some color.

Tornado/Hurricane ActivityBuild a 12” X 12” box with at least two windows of
Plexiglas. In all four sides put at least a ¾” slit in opposite sides from the other.
After built heat the hot plate and put hot water in a pan and place on the hot plate.
Place a good size piece of dry ice in the pan. Place the box structure around the hot plate.Let a cloud form.Place a fan on top of the box with a low speed. The cloud will start to rotate in a counter clockwise
direction forming a simulation of a tornado/hurricane.

Thanks!!Thanks for all the support of classmates for
making this project happen. And a special thanks to Mrs. Philips for helping us get the dry ice for the presentation and the encouragement she has given us throughout the semester.
Again Thanks,Ryan, Chris, and
