AMAZING RACE TEAM BUILDING ACTIVITY

Our Amazing Race has teams of 2-4 people racing against each other to find clues and complete challenges around Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. Teams will find themselves solving puzzles, searching for trivia answers, competing in physical challenges and finding their way around our scenic property.

FAMILY/TEAM BINGO Fun for everyone! Every “Bingo” wins a prize.

HISTORY TOUR Walk through history as our knowledgeable guides share the story of Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, over 100 years in the making.

KIDS’ PROGRAMS & MOVIE NIGHT

Half or full day programs available for children or teenagers that can include scavenger hunts, crafts, indoor and outdoor games, and movies. Programs can also include snacks or meal times.

BOATHOUSE ACTIVITIES

BOAT & BIKE RENTALS Located on the shore of Lac Beauvert, The Boathouse offers canoes, single and double kayaks, pedal boats, stand up paddle boards, voyageur canoes and bike rentals.

VOYAGEUR CANOE RACES Organized canoe races across Lac Beauvert as a fun competition and another way to enjoy the lake.

VOYAGEUR CANOE ARRIVAL

The most exclusive way to arrive at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. Our team will meet your group on the far shores of Lac Beauvert where you will board our voyageur canoes for a scenic paddle across the lake to the lodge. Two canoes are available with a capacity of 10 passengers each. Luggage will be transported separately by vehicle and delivered to guest rooms.

LAWN & PARTY GAMES Classic games for your event that allow guests to play at leisure. Available games include bocce ball, ladder ball, bean bag toss, frisbee, croquet, giant jenga, giant connect 4, giant chess and giant checkers.

VOYAGEUR CANOE TOUR

Enjoy a guided tour of pristine Lac Beauvert in one of our voyageur canoes. Two canoes are available with a capacity of 10 passengers each.

BIKE & HIKE TO OLD FORT POINT

Follow our guides as you pedal to Old Fort Point and hike to the viewpoint for a spectacular views of Jasper. Be prepared for moderate physical activity for up to two hours over semi-difficult, steep terrain.

Our Culinary team is ready for any ideas your team would like to bring their way. From learning about how we make our house-made pasta in Orso Trattoria to discovering how to make that perfect dish for a special occasion, they’re here to serve.

ART PARTY Introduction to water-colour, landscape painting with Artist/Gallery Owner Wendy Wacko. Wendy has been working in the arts for the past 40 years and has had 16 solo shows , at the Scott Gallery in Edmonton and at the Madrona Gallery in Victoria. For twenty seven years she traveled and painted with Group of Seven member, Doris McCarthy, her mentor and friend and shares her lessons with enthusiasm and humour. Weather permitting the class will take place by Lac Beauvert. All materials will be provided and the guests each get a water-colour sketchbook as a gift.

DARK SKY ACTIVITIESSTARGAZER PACKAGE Join astronomy experts from the Jasper Planetarium

at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge for a live virtual tour of local constellations from the centre of the world’s second largest Dark Sky Preserve. This unique experience takes place within a 40 seat heated outdoor dome theatre on the Dark Sky Plateau located adjacent to the lodge. Tour through local aboriginal constellations, see views of the Northern Lights and orbit above Jasper through space. Then join your astronomy expert outside for a private stargazing experience using the most powerful telescope in the Canadian Rockies.

ASTRONOMER PACKAGE This experience includes the Stargazer virtual tour and allows you to elevate your group’s astronomy experience with the addition of a campfire near the planetarium and an introduction to astrophotography.

EQUESTRIAN ACTIVITIESHORSE BACK RIDING Jasper Park Stables, based at Fairmont Jasper Park

Lodge, has knowledgeable guides and experienced horses ready to take you on a journey through nature.

Riverview Loop | 1 HourVenture into the forest and emerge along the beautiful Athabasca River. This ride offers refreshing views of mountain landscapes and the tranquil sound of water. This is a great family ride. 6 years of age and up.

Cowboy Up | 1.5 HoursFor a true Western experience, enjoy the wilderness of Jasper from your saddle. There’s a good chance you’ll see elk or a bear, as you ride along Lake Annette and catch a glimpse of Lakes Edith and Trefoil. This is a great family ride. 6 years of age and up.

Happy Trails | 2 HoursMountain trails at their best. Ride along the mighty Athabasca River, before ascending above the valley and over Canada’s #1 golf course. There is a good chance of a bear sighting on this trail. For “fit” riders with a little bit of previous horse experience. Ages 10 and up.

HORSE & CARRIAGE RIDE Three carriages are available to whisk your group away. The smallest carriage (the coach) comfortably seats 4 comfortably. The larger carriage (the limo) seats 6 comfortably.

WINTER ACTIVITIESCROSS COUNTRY SKIING Explore Canada’s #1 Resort Golf Course by cross

country ski and see incredible views of Old Man and Pyramid mountains. A groomed cross country ski trail is set each winter for guests to use.

SNOWSHOEING Snowshoe through the woods on extended marked trails towards Lake Annette and Lake Edith. You may even see some wildlife! Detailed trail maps are available upon request.

TOBOGGAN PARK Grab a toboggan, tube or sled, and GO! Our groomed hill is perfect for family fun. Rentals are available at the Winter Activities Centre.

FAT TIRE BIKING Enjoy one of Canada’s fastest growing winter sports, Fat Tire Biking. Riding along the marked trail towards Lake Annette, returning by way of Trefoil Lake, this is a great way to see the different forests and mountains along the way. Bike rentals come with helmets, but be sure to dress appropriately.

LAKE MILDRED ICE PARK We have a groomed skating rink on Lake Mildred offering a round-the-lake oval, warming hut, curling area and hockey rinks for pick-up games. Skate rentals are available at the Winter Activities Centre.

A guided wildlife tour gives you the opportunity to see all sorts of animals native to Jasper National Park. Deer, elk, moose, bears, wolves, coyotes... what will YOU see? Transportation is provided.

SKI & SNOWBOARD AT MARMOT BASIN

Marmot Basin is a world-class ski destination that inspires lasting memories, with snow capped peaks that carry on as far as the eye can see. One of these peaks is host to the 1,675 acres of superb slopes that make up Marmot Basin. Ski Shuttles run to and from The Lodge daily.

MALIGNE CANYON ICE WALK

Get ready for an experience of a lifetime. Enjoy a two-hour guided hike during the day or at night, through the frozen ice falls and ice caves of Maligne Canyon. Walking on a frozen shelf of ice makes for an incredible adventure the whole family can enjoy.

MALIGNE LAKE & SPIRIT ISLAND BOAT CRUISE

Visit the largest glacier-fed lake in the Canadian Rockies and take the 90 minute scenic boat cruise out to the beautiful Spirit Island! Boat cruises run from late May until early October. In addition to the classic 90 minute boat cruise, a two hour “Premium” boat cruise is available which includes 1-2 stops on the lake, a 30 minute stop on Spirit Island and an interpretive walk.

WHITE WATER RAFTING Float along the Athabasca River or roar along the mighty Fraser and Sunwapta Rivers, a perfect activity for all summer weather! White Water Rafting is offered by Jasper Raft Tours, Maligne Adventures and Jasper White Water Rafting. They offer a wide variety of trips so there is something suitable for everyone!

JASPER SKYTRAM Take a ride on the longest and highest aerial tramway in Canada for incredible views of Jasper National Park! The 7 minute flight will take you up to the top of Whistlers Mountain at 2,263m elevation. There is a 1.2km hiking trail to the summit of the mountain at 2,463m. After your hike be sure to stop in for lunch and enjoy 360 degree views.
