“How can you express the magnitude of an object through the use of math?”

Write the distance from Earth to Uranus by simplifying the huge numbers with scientific notations and exponents.

Use radicals to be more precise in calculations and measurements for the distance and the magnitude of Uranus.

In what way math can help us in traveling to Uranus?

Uscientific notation to write the distance from Earth to Uranus by simplifying the huge numbers with scientific notations and exponents.

We also can use radicals to be more precise in calculations and measurements for the distance and the magnitude of Uranus.

By calculating the time of travel with the spacecraft, we can predict how long the spacecraft will reach Uranus. It will be easier to use scientific notation to write our predictions and calculations.

How can you conclude the best way to go to Uranus?

Considering Uranus is pretty far and Moon is the farthest we can get with humans, we are going to use a spacecraft without humans.

We will not send humans because of difficulties such as food, clothes, and excrement.

We will reach Uranus at it’s nearest to the Earth: 2.6 billion km. In that way, we can reach there faster.

We want to use New Horizons because it is a fast spacecraft so it will only take 5 years to go there.

“How can you express the magnitude of an object through the use of math?”

We use scientific notation and to simplify the numbers so its easier for us to count the distance.

Use radicals to count the distance and magnitude of Uranus accurately.

Page 13: GROUP 4 CAELUS PROJECT. SCIENTIFIC NOTATION To simplify the huge numbers and to do a calculation

In what way math can help us in traveling to Uranus?

Find the distance from the earth to Uranus and simplify it by using scientific notation so it’s easier for us to count the distance and all.

We also can count how many years will it take to get there which is five years.

With these kind of information makes it easier for us to know about the new horizon while it’s on the way to Uranus or when it get there.

Page 14: GROUP 4 CAELUS PROJECT. SCIENTIFIC NOTATION To simplify the huge numbers and to do a calculation

Can we go to Uranus without any problem?

the new horizon suddenly lost connection with NASA and there’s something wrong with the horizon.

By making sure and counting things appropriately is very important to stay away from the possibilities or problems.

Page 16: GROUP 4 CAELUS PROJECT. SCIENTIFIC NOTATION To simplify the huge numbers and to do a calculation

“How can you express the magnitude of an object through the use of math?”

We can know how big the planet is using the scale, because with scale we can know how many times bigger is Uranus.

With scientific notation we can simplifying the huge number like, the circumference of Uranus.

Page 17: GROUP 4 CAELUS PROJECT. SCIENTIFIC NOTATION To simplify the huge numbers and to do a calculation

In what way math can help us in traveling to Uranus?

We can count the distance between earths with our destination, with math too we can know how long we will arrive in our destination.

Math helping us to count the speed of our transportation to go to our destination.

Page 18: GROUP 4 CAELUS PROJECT. SCIENTIFIC NOTATION To simplify the huge numbers and to do a calculation

“Is it possible to arrive in Uranus less than 5 years?”

Yes it’s possible because from our counting we estimated that we can arrive in Uranus in less than 5 years using the new horizon.

it’s possible if we can arrive in Uranus less than 5 years because we round the year.

Page 20: GROUP 4 CAELUS PROJECT. SCIENTIFIC NOTATION To simplify the huge numbers and to do a calculation

“How can you express the magnitude of an object through the use of math?”

Express the magnitude of a object by using scale to help us count the number we used scientific notation.

Can use math to predict weight or mass of something without really counting.

Page 21: GROUP 4 CAELUS PROJECT. SCIENTIFIC NOTATION To simplify the huge numbers and to do a calculation

In what way math can help us in traveling to Uranus?

Can help us to predict how long would it takes to travel to Uranus.

Know where to launch the rocket at is nearest distance from earth to Uranus.

Page 22: GROUP 4 CAELUS PROJECT. SCIENTIFIC NOTATION To simplify the huge numbers and to do a calculation

“What is the fastest way to travel to Uranus”

We Use new horizon as the space craft to travel in, this space craft is the fastest of it class yet.

Its speed is up to 40.000km /per hour

“How can you express the magnitude of an object through the use of math?”

We can express the magnitude of an object by divide the magnitude of Uranus and earth.

Page 25: GROUP 4 CAELUS PROJECT. SCIENTIFIC NOTATION To simplify the huge numbers and to do a calculation

In what way math can help us in traveling to Uranus?

Math is very useful in many ways in can help us how long will it take to Uranus or how long I takes to travel around the planet math can help us compare earth and Uranus like the mass and polar diameter.

Page 26: GROUP 4 CAELUS PROJECT. SCIENTIFIC NOTATION To simplify the huge numbers and to do a calculation

Why will it take 5 hours to go around the world

It will take 4 hours because circumference is 160,590 km and our ship speed is 39,987 per hour.

We divide circumference and speed and it becomes 4 hours.
