Our range of PVC Riser and Screen range from 1/2" to 12" diameter.

Pipes are manufactured as per ASTM F- 480 flush threads with 2, 4, or 8

threads per inch, Schedule 40 and Schedule 80, with screen openings

from 0.006" to 0.500", in multiple row patterns and spacing.

Offered standard lengths are 2 1/2', 5', and 10'

Custom lengths are available on request up to 20'.

O-ring are pre-installed.

NPT or custom threads are available on request.

Custom schedules and SDR's are available on request

Note: All PVC pipes are free of oils, grease, dust, fingerprints, and marks

imparted as a result of the manufacturing process. The pipe are also free of

ink.

Packaging Details

All PVC screens and casings up to 8 inch diameter are

hermetically sealed in polyethylene bags on both sides prior to

shipment.

PVC screens and casings are shipped in double walled cardboard

boxes or skidded and wrapped in plastic with a color-coded label

containing a full description of the product and quantities.

The label indicates the number of pieces, the diameter of the pipe,

and the threads per inch, as well as a picture of the product.

Temperature De-Rating Table

Once cement and grout has been poured to stabilize a Lotus PVC pipe, the heat which is generated from this process can at times have a negative impact on the PVC’s integrity. When performing at these elevated temperatures, the table below reflects the potential derating factor on a PVC’s Collapse Pressure, Burst Pressure, and Tensile Strength.

Pre-pack screens are designed for setting small

diameter monitoring wells.

Pre-pack screens consist of a standard, slotted

PVC well screen pipe surrounded by a stainless

steel mesh.

Sand is packed between the slotted PVC and the

stainless steel mesh.

Manufactured by Lotus for use inside (DPT) direct

push casing, installed in open bore holes or used

as liners in larger diameter well applications.

These screens are all Schedule-40 PVC x .010”

(referred to as “10”) slot with ASTM (F-480) Flush

Joint threads & O-Ring Seals, for assembly of

longer screen lengths (than the standard 5-foot) or

to couple directly to threaded casing (riser).

The filter pack of clean, fine grade silica sand is

secured to the PVC screen with an overlay of #45

stainless steel mesh that holds the sand securely

& uniformly in place.

These Pre-packs are unique because they have a

PVC sleeve under the clamp at each end which

helps keep the PVC centered and the sand more

uniform throughout the filter pack to ensure optimal

results.

Features and characteris�cs:

Silica Sand is a natural mineral deposit, freshly mined from natural reserves in

western India.

Sand consists of small grains or par�cles of mineral and rock fragments. Although

these grains may be of any mineral composi�on, the dominant component of

sand is the mineral quartz, which is composed of silica (silicon dioxide).

Sand with par�cularly high silica levels being used for purposes other than

construc�on is referred to as silica sand or industrial sand.

The best quality Silica Sand is Mined, cleaned by being repeatedly washed with

potable water, dried, and then graded to high purity of silica content & mesh

sizes.

The segrega�ng and grading process is used in order to organize the silica for

applica�ons in different industries and packed to customized requirements and

grain sizes with various mesh sizes.

It exhibits high silica content, lower vola�lity, customized sieve size and absence of

clay.

Here are many industrial uses for silica.

For filtra�on and Water Produc�on: Industrial Silica sand is also used in the

filtra�on of drinking water, the processing of wastewater and the produc�on of

water from wells. Uniform grain shapes and grain size distribu�ons produce

efficient filtra�on bed opera�on in removal of contaminants in both potable water

and wastewater. Chemically inert, silica will not degrade or react when it comes in

contact with acids, contaminants, vola�le organic or solvents.

Silica gravel is used as packing material in deep‐water wells to increase yield from

the aquifer by expanding the permeable zone around the well screen and

preven�ng the infiltra�on of fine par�cles from the forma�on.

Features:

Silica sand used in prepak screen is freshly mined from huge mines.

It is wash several times till it is clean and useable for the application in water wells.

Protect your monitoring boreholes from surface

contamination and tampering with a high security

locking well plug. Our plugs are simple, secure and

available in a wide range of diameters.

Well plugs incorporate a simple but reliable locking

mechanism with no moving parts. They are brightly

colored with a comfort grip using an "easy on", "easy

off" wing nut design. The seals are formed from a dual

rubber gasket which is liquid tight and super-strong.

Two instrument tethering eyes are included at the base

of the plugs for suspending equipment.

Well plugs are constructed from a partially recycled

plastic incorporated into a 33% glass filled Nylon body.

The gasket is composed of neoprene. These plugs will

completely seal the borehole and are unvented.

For use with loggers, most plugs can be supplied with a

small diameter vent hole to prevent pressurization of the

borehole during logging. Please be aware this does

introduce a small opening in the plugs and consequently

vented plugs should not be used for permanent sealing

of boreholes, particularly where flooding can occur.

Bentonite API GradePallets, Lumps, & Powder

Piezometer Pipes

Lotus' Bentonite Powder can be used to complete tasks in a variety of industries such as

foundry, drilling, civil engineering, water treatment, agriculture, and many more.

We use modern tools and machinery in order to crumble our Bentonite in to a fine

powder. This manufacturing process is done in compliance with the API, Pilling, Earthing

grade, and a variety of other standards that are common in the industry.

When exposed to fresh water, Bentonite pellets will swell and expand to fill voids exerting

pressure against all surfaces to create a flexible low permeability seal.

The versatility that this seal provides can be used a wide range of processes such as

providing an impermeable flexible barrier between aquifers, prevent contamination from

surface water into a well, backfill all types of bore holes, or sealing in a surface casing.

Lotus' Bentonite Power is available in 50 kg PP bags

We are a prominent manufacturers of wide variety of Piezometer.

This is a device used to indicate the Ground water level & is a mandatory device for the

construction sites.

Piezometers are comprised of porous plastic elements that come protected by perforated

PVC, which can be manufactured to custom lengths as per the customer's order.

418XA, 418XAP, 418XAS and 418XAH The 418XA has of a cast iron lid and rim, replaceable buna-N gasket, galvanized sheet metal skirt, and stainless steel bolts. Lugs on the inside of body rim are threaded for bolts to draw lid down tight. Bolted cover provides weather tight seal and “limited access” feature. The 418XAP has a painted cover. The 418XAS has a steel cover and is available in 8"x12" and 12"x12" sizes. The 418XAH has a 14-gauge heavy skirt and nylon washers, available in 9"x7" and 9"x12" sizes

318 Series - Round Manholes

Round manholes with non-bolted cover.

Used for access ports in driveways where limited

The 318 and 318XA con sist of a cast iron lid and cast iron rim riveted to a galvanized sheet metal skirt.

The 318 24" and 36" sizes consist of a fabricated and painted steel rim, cover and skirt.

It has a non-bolted cover and is used for access ports in driveways where limited access and/or watertight

conditions are not required.

9" and 12" covers are cast iron.

18" and 24" = 3/8" four-way floor plate.

A “TEST WELL” warning is cast directly on the 318XA lid.

PVC screens and casings, up to 8-inch diameter, are

hermetically sealed in polyethylene bags on both

sides prior to shipment. PVC screens and casings

are shipped in double walled cardboard boxes or

skidded and wrapped in plastic with a color coded

label containing a full description of the product and

quantities. The label indicates the number of pieces,

the diameter of the pipe, and the threads per inch, as

well as a picture of the product.
