Greeny the Car explored the desert. “I’velost my hump,” said Horatio. “All the camels

have one. Some even have two!”

“You silly billy,” said Greeny. “You’re a horseand horses don’t have humps.” “Gosh, I thought I

was a camel,” said Horatio, trotting offhappily. “That explains why I like apples so

much.”

Greeny the Car explored the jungle. “Doyou want to hear a joke?” asked Mike theMonkey. “Ooh, yes please,” answered

Greeny the Car. “What kind of key opens abanana? A monKEY!”

“I’ve heard it before,” said Greeny theCar. “Monkeys are the funniest,” cried

Mike, as he swung away through the trees.

Greeny the Car explored the forest. Whilewalking Greeny bumped straight into

Deidre the Deer. “I didn’t see you there,dear,” said Deidre surprised. “I’m not a

deer,“ exclaimed Greeny. “Of course you’renot ducky!” replied Deidre.

“I’m not a duck either,” said Greeny, crossly.Deidre the Deer laughed and trotted off

into the forest.

Greeny the Car explored the seaside.Charles De-Gull, the Seagull, was

lost. “Bonjour. Do you know the way to France?”he asked.

“You could try flying across the sea,” suggestedGreeny. “Merci,” said Charles. “By theway, try the fish and chips while you’re here.

They are délicieux!” And off he flew.

Greeny the Car decided to head home. Onthe way Greeny saw Percy the

Carrier Pigeon. “Have you got amessage for me to deliver?” asked Percy.

Greeny quickly wrote down a message forPercy to deliver. And do you know what the

message said? Well, here it is.
