Another year and our boys continue to
makes us proud and happy. Growing up is
not always easy, but it seems that we
have been blessed!
Scott Palmer is in the process of
graduating, a Bachelor of Arts in Geography
out of UNBC in Prince George while Laura
continues there in Environmental Sciences
They are very avid trekkers and spent part
of the summer tracking bears for one of
Scott’s courses. They are proud parents of
Keira (aka Snowdingo) and Grisome!
Tor is also in the process of graduating, a
Bachelor of Commerce at UBC. He is
planning to head to UC Berkeley to work on
his PHD in Applied Economics. His part time
job working at one of the prestigious wine
shops in Vancouver has turned him into a
real connissieur.
Stefano and his partner, Caitlyn live in
Yaletown, one of downtown Vancouver’s
trendy areas. Stefano will have an interview
in February for acceptance into UBC Med
school as he finishes up his Bachelor of
Science at SFU. Caitlyn works fulltime for
the Bruce Allen Agency and continues part
time at SFU.
XMAS 2010 we will be together with the
boys, their girlfriends and Caitlyn’s father
and brother, Silver Tip and Travis, riding
and gliding at Troll Mountain near Quesnel,
a great family mountain I took the BC Team
to in 1983. Wow! How the time flies.

family time. Life is too short to miss any of it and we are all guilty of already
missing too much. Promise yourself and your loved ones that today will be
different and tomorrow, even better. Give them a hug, tell them how much
you love them and how proud you are of them! Make a difference, TODAY!
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take
but by the moments that take our breath away!

RT personal project continues to
be the “ACORN 15” which will be
launched in April in the coming
year. Special thanks to my spiritual
leader, Murray, who has a real love
for working with wood and all the
tools to get the job done.
It was a busy year at Warm Springs Ranch in 2010. A wet spring convinced us to get the gravel on the road and 400 cubic yards later and lots of raking, got her done. New to the Ranch is the “Outback”, a 480 sq. foot metal building which will be our workshed and storage. Special thanks to Chris Delich, who built the foundation forms and thanks to Scott-Palmer, Tor (and his team of Allan and Jack), Stefane, Caitlyn and our key man, Silver Tip for all their time and efforts. Plans for 2011 include power and water as we continue to move forward with our plans to build. Looking for a great family get away, visit:www.ruthlakelodge.com.

WARM SPRINGS RANCH UPDATE
decided to take a trip to Maui. As a young girl, my parents took our family to the Islands. I was extremely happy it didn’t disappoint, beautiful just as I remembered. In the spring, Robin and I went to the Ranch for ten days where we spent some “r and r” spreading gravel. Robin assures me I won’t remember the pain I endured, shoveling ¾ of a mile of rock! He seems to think this is lethargic. I know I earned my stove I want tee-hee. In August I lost my Father “Bud” to cancer. I regret he never got
to see the Ranch he would have loved it.

2010 flew by in what seemed like a blink of an eye. Up at the Ranch, days blend into seamless peace, whether it’s out on the water or on the property raking, cutting or constructing. I really
do feel at home there. I continue to mow fairways at Morgan Creek and help the BLE with their marketing and website. Life continues to challenge us but we learn how to make the best
out of it and keep taking steps forward. Success has always meant much to me; but I now know that family means the most. Warm Springs Ranch is all about family and it is wonderful that all
three of our boys are sharing the same dream and passion for it. We hope that you too can one day enjoy it’s peace, beauty and tranquility. PEACE to you and your loved ones! rgt
