The main colours used in this issue of KERRANG! are white, Green and yellow. The use of green fits in with the headline story about the band ‘Green day’. The Fonts fit in with the Masthead font which appears to be broken. This is to make it look like the music is that loud its broken it, this is due to the type of music the magazine is about. The photo is in front of the masthead which puts across the importance of the story and the kickers and secondary leads are placed around the main picture, in the dead space.
