Academic Opportunities Green Sea Floyds High School serves students in grades 6–12, affording the opportunity for a reduced teacher- student ratio and to foster positive relationships with students. GSFHS has increased its advanced placement offerings to include AP English Language, AP English Literature, AP Calculus, AP Statistics, AP Human Geography, AP European History, and AP US History. There are two Career and Technology Education (CTE) programs at GSFHS, Information Business Management, and Horticulture, where students may obtain “completer status”. In addition, there is Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). We also offer Project Lead The Way (PLTW) in the areas of Engineering and Biomedical Science. GSFHS also offers the opportunity to take dual enrollment courses, college prep courses, honors courses, and World Language. Entrance Requirements Green Sea Floyds High School does not have an application process. Students not living in the Green Sea Floyds High School attendance area may apply to attend GSFHS for the 2022-2023 school year by requesting a waiver through the HCS Office of Student Affairs. GSFHS is a participant of the High Schools that Work Program. Our GSFHS community emphasizes teachers as facilitators and students as actively engaged learners.

Fine Arts include Band, orchestra, Chorus, Musical Theatre, Visual Arts, and Digital Photography.

CLUBS AND ORGANIZATIONSGreen Sea Floyds High School offers many extracurricular clubs, honor organizations, and many opportunities for competition, leadership, scholarship, team building, and personal growth.
