You can place all ofthe slices onto a panor paper plate andallow the child to

scoop a piece of pieto their 'plate' to get

ready to count.

Supplies: Orange &brown construction

paper, white pom-poms(or cotton balls),

scissors, a sharpiemarker, paper plates,

and glue.

Cut a brown circleand a slightly

smaller orangecircle. Glue the

orange circle to thebrown circle.

I suggest crinklingthe brown

construction paperto make it look

similar to pie crust.

Finally, have studentplace "whippedtopping" (cotton

ball) on the top ofthe slice they chose,

with the correctnumber of "whip"

scoops.

Cut the circle intofour pieces andlabel the pieceswith a number.
