Late Shri Krishan Lal Gupta

According to a Chinese proverb, “If you are planning for a year, sow rice; if you are planning for a decade, plant trees; if you are planning for the lifetime, educate people”. This sums up the entire philosophy of the time and life of Shri K.L.Gupta Ji, a visionary and inspiration to many. With his sheer hard work and lifelong dedication, he built up the entire GNIOT Group of Institutions – a name that is taken with reverence and admiration.
Shri K.L.Gupta Ji was born on 18 th Febuary, 1961, in Village Karsindhu, District Jind, Haryana, to father Late Shri Ramchander Bansal Ji and mother Late Shrimati Bhanpati Devi Ji. He lost his parents at a very young age and then he along with his younger brother Shri Bishan Lal Gupta Ji and five sisters moved on with their lives with courage and confidence. In 1978 he got married to Shrimati Kamla Devi Ji and had two sons, Shri Rajesh Gupta and Shri Gaurav Gupta.
With his far sightedness, devotion, and his zeal to do work which influences so many lives, in the year 2000, Shri Ram Educational Trust was established. He realized to put our country forward, we must make our youth technically sound. Engineering is one domain where the youth can take constructive steps in order to strive for a more developed and advanced nation. Opening up an engineering college and providing the students and even the teaching fraternity with opportunities that would help them to aspire for the best and achieve the same too, was his only dream. It was this drive and passion that urged him to found and run the GNIOT Group of Institutions for over a decade.
Taking this thought one step ahead, Shri Krishan Lal Gupta Ji realized that in order to transform the education system, it would be more imperative if we start working on it from the very beginning. This led to the opening of primary and secondary schools for children so that they get proper guidance andmentorship at the earliest.
Though he is not with us today, he is and will always be the guiding star in all our progressions.
We miss him dearly.

I took admission in GNIOT in 2008 and completed my B.Tech. in Computer Science domain in 2012 .In my 4-year journey, I had initially taken admission in IT stream but in my 2 nd year I changed my branch to CS, thanks to GNIOT registrar team who made it possible. I am very thankful to the then HOD of IT, Ms. Vasudha Tiwari and the then HOD of CSE, Dr. Rajesh Pathak who always supported each and every student for every little thing. I have learnt a lot during my engineering course specially the basics of software development, different software languages like JAVA, C, and most important Data Structures and Algorithms. ADMISSION GUIDELINES
EDUCATION LOANThousands of students studying at GNIOT Group of Institutions have been availing the education loan facility given by various banks. Students of GNIOT Group of Institutions who are willing to avail education loan facility are eligible for education loan given by all the banks. All such students are provided with a bonafide certificate as required by the bank and the letter of fee structure of the college. The college fees for all the course are duly approved by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. However the final loan approval and disbursement of loan is a sole subject of Bank policy and the ultimate right is reserved with the bank only.
ADMISSION PROCESSA candidate seeking admission should carry the following list of documents (and / or essentials) according to the given list:

ANTI�RAGGING MEASURESAs Per The Orders Of The Hon’ble Supreme Court Of India, Uttar Pradesh Prohibition Of Ragging In Educational Institutes Act-2010 And Ugc Regulations And Guidelines, Greater Noida Institute Of Technology Has Instituted Stringent Anti-ragging Measures To Root Out Ragging In All Its Forms And Has Made Provisions For Strict Punishments To Defaulters.
1. What Constitutes Ragging?
¤ Any disorderly conduct whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness, towards any other student, indulging in rowdy or indisciplined activities which causes or is likely to cause annoyance, hardship or psychological or physical harm or to raise fear or apprehension thereof in a fresher or a junior student.
¤ Asking the student(s) to do any act or perform something which a student should not in the ordinary course and which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame or embarrassment so as to adversely affect the physique or psyche of a fresher or a junior student.
¤ Teasing, harassing, embarrassing, humiliating, assaulting or using criminal force or criminal intimidation, wrongful restraining or confining or causing grievous hurt, kidnapping, extortion or molestation or committing unnatural offences or causing death or abetting suicide, use of criminal force, criminal trespass and intimidation.

¤ Ragging in any form is prohibited also in the private hostels / buildings / where the Institute students are staying.
¤ No person including students / staff / faculty shall participate or abet or propagate ragging in any form.
¤ Ragging within the Institution including its departments, lawns, college buses and hostels is strictly prohibited.
Ragging is a cognizable offence under the law and the punishments to be meted out have to be exemplary and justifiably harsh to act as a deterrent, it may include:
¤ Cancellation of admission, suspension, rustication or expulsion from the Institute / Hostel.
¤ FIR with the police and arrest.
¤ More severe punishment where justified such as fine / imprisonment, etc.
¤ Collective punishment may be imposed where involved persons are identified.
