Travel to historic and HAUNTED Lebanon Ohio The charm and authenticity of the town have attracted Hollywood on more than one occasion. In 1978 the movie Harper Valley PTA starring Barbara Eden was filmed throughout the town, followed in 1994 by Milk Money starring Melanie Griffith and Ed Harris. In more recent years, the Hallmark movie The Christmas Spirit and Oscar-nominated film “Carol” were also filmed in the area. (On a side note, actor Woody Harrelson called Lebanon his home and appeared in school plays at the local high school!) Today, unique and antique shops line the Lebanon streets first laid out in 1802. Local-ly owned dining gems offer travelers a place to rest and refresh. Arrival in LEBANON with tour guide giving you a brief tour of this historic town. Guests will be dropped off at the GOLDEN LAMB for some shopping time in the village. BE sure to allow enough time to walk to the Golden Turtle Chocolate factory BEFORE meeting at Museum at 4:00pm. for tour. (MOST shops close at 5:00 pm). Museum is located two doors down from Gold-en Lamb on the same side of the road.

TOUR The Warren County Historical So-ciety Museum located in historic downtown Lebanon, Ohio and is acclaimed as one of the nation’s most

outstanding county museums. Inside is a host of exhibits ranging from prehistoric times through the Victorian age and beyond.

Enjoy its Village Green exhibit (that has charming arrange-ments of antique toys, clocks, guns, and clothing), and its Shaker Gallery (which features one of the largest collections of Shaker artifacts found any-

where). Other noteworthy exhibits include a pioneer cabin, unique collections of horse-drawn vehicles, early farming tools, folk art and period clothing. THIS IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL MUSEUM!! The GRUESOME BUT TRUESOME EXHIBIT is an overlay tour of the entire Warren County History Center. It focuses on common and everyday practices of the 19th and early 20th century that we in the 21st century find gruesome or downright horrifying.

Dinner at The Golden Lamb Dining will be on the 2nd floor, stairs are required. The Golden Lamb, The oldest Inn in Ohio, began operating in 1803. The current building housing the Inn was built in

1815, with additional floors and other renovations coming years later. Several Presidents have stayed there, as well as Mark Twain & Charles Dickens. Entrée CHOICE at time of service. A local historian will share with guests the HAUNTING of the GOLDEN LAMB The Golden Lamb in Lebanon is known for more than a few ghost tales: Among them, the scent of cigar smoke accompanies sightings of Charles Sherman, clad in a grey suit, who died at the Golden Lamb Inn. A little girl named “Sarah” has been heard throw-ing temper tantrums in a room filled with chil-dren’s toys and furniture, according to Haunted Ohio author Chris Woodyard. Also learn about the spirit of Clement Laird Val-landigham, a Dayton lawyer and politician who accidently shot himself at the inn in 1871 who makes the occasional appearance.
