Class Activity: I am thankful for…
• Students should sit in a circle with their legs straight out to the middle of the circle.
• The teacher will walk around the circle and gently pat each child’s head saying the words. “I am thankful for.” Do not say a name until, when you get to the child you want to chose you will say, “I am thankful for (Name).” That child stands up.
• The teacher then sits criss-cross in that child’s spot. • That child will then go around the circle and repeat the
thankful words as they pat a head and then choose the next person. Each student should have a turn.
