Re-design # 1

Very appropriate for

high school audience

Well-balanced, very

explicit and eye-

catching design

Easy to navigate once it

becomes a webpage

Design highlights Asymmetrical balance with

geometric forms Unity is achieved by repetition of

color and graphics Typography (sans-serif) is used

consistently throughout the design

The graphics with the kids’ marching band is very appropriate and makes the

design lively and non-traditional The organic semi-transparent

graphic element with the music notes highlights the main idea and turns the design into a dynamic one

Re-design # 2

Stylish well-balanced

design Not as explicit as the first

one, but the music motifs evoke the expectation of the coming music event

Easy to navigate once it

becomes a webpage

Design highlights Approximate horizontal symmetry Unity is achieved by repetition of

the orange color and the music motifs

Typography (sans-serif) is used consistently throughout the design

More conservative design in grey-orange color scheme as the orange color makes it vibrant, remarkable and memorable

The organic semi-transparent floral graphic element with the music notes makes the design dynamic, more fluid and less traditional
